Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior QA Engineer to lead our software testing efforts. In this critical role, you'll be the champion of our software quality, ensuring our products meet the highest standards through meticulous testing processes. Your expertise in testing methodologies, coupled with a deep understanding of software systems, will be vital in delivering software solutions that stand out in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Conduct thorough testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance tests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and ensure test coverage aligns with user expectations.
  • Document detailed test outcomes, log defects, and work closely with developers to facilitate issue resolution.
  • Manage test environment and test data preparation, ensuring accurate and effective testing scenarios.
  • Mentor and guide junior testers, promoting a culture of quality and precision.

Who You Are

  • Deep knowledge of disk structures and file systems across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Strong foundation in testing theory, with ISTQB certification highly desirable.
  • Proficient in designing and executing effective manual test cases and strategies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex software issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with Disk Management on Windows and Linux OSes.
  • Experience in Linux OS administration, including remote server management, file system operations, services, and network shares.
  • Proficiency with TestRail, Jira, and experience working in Scrum teams.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing of client-server applications across various platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in virtualization using VMware and vCenter to set up and maintain test environments.
